I hope you guys are ready, because today’s episode will knock your socks off!  It contains a number of changes and ideas we cooked up during our month-long hiatus.  We’re totally excited to pull the curtain off the new and improved My Fair Hunter, so please enjoy and let us know what you think!

Also, I want to take the time to answer a few questions we’ve been seeing a lot lately regarding Social Nights:

• Social Nights will continue on Monster Hunter Tri until the servers go down (April 30th).  We will hold one each month and (time provided) we will turn the best hunts into a bonus episode.

• Social Nights will begin simultaneously on Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate once the game is released.  Again: one per month.

• Since the Wii U cannot pull the 3DS online, only one of us will be participating in the Monster hunter 3 Ultimate Social Nights at a time, but we will be switching off so you can play with both Roy and Sarah, but sadly not both of us.

That should cover just about everything, feel free to leave any other questions about the revamped podcast or Social Nights in the comments!

This week is the week to end all weeks: Sarah finally takes on Alatreon!  Such a task can’t be undertaken lightly, so we invite some friends of the show to lend a hand.  Together we give it our all and take on a few event quests to boot.  Does the Deviljho ever find an unprotected picnic basket?  How many more times will we be carted against Lagi?  Find out, in episode 57 of My Fair Hunter!

NOTE: Originally we’d planned to have this month’s social night at the end of the month.  Sadly, with Sarah back in Japan we’ll have to postpone it until late December most likely.  Please look forward to when we have a concrete date so you can hunt Alatreon with us too!

This week My Fair Hunter returns with a special guest!  Together we challenge the collective horrors of the Volcano and the Flooded Forest.  Finally the award for “most valuable kicker” is given to a member of our hunting party and we brainstorm some Monster Hunter amusement park ideas.  Gobul bumper cars anyone?

Happy Halloween from My Fair Hunter!  For this month’s social night we tried to keep things spooky with talk of costumes, candy, and scary movies.  

We had considered chopping this episode up into two parts, but since it was late we kept it as a solid TWO HOUR long episode!  It is highly recommended that you do NOT eat candy during the entire duration of this episode.

If that wasn’t enough, Gale (AKA Billybobjho) hunted with us and recorded his own gameplay!  Watch in awe as we butcher his attempts at killing the Uragaan in a timely manner!

And oh, Sarah is officially HR 50!  The last battle grows near!
