It’s Sarah again with another Monster Hunter commission! This one was requested by Beth, featuring a hunter in Deviljho gear while a Jinouga rests near her. It was challenging to fit such an enormous creature next to a hunter (I watched the opening movie for Portable 3rd in order to get an idea - holy cow). But it was fun working with a monster that had so many vivid colors. There’s only one week left for commissions for anyone who is interested!

Sarah here! The past week I worked on the first of a variety of commissions I received. It features commenter Bunny’s original character (yes, also named Bunny!) hanging out with an Urcusis. They found a sunny patch while traveling through a snowy forest. A perfect time for a break, right? Bunny decides to have a snack while the Urcusis nods off in the sun. (Pssst! There are still open commissions left.)

Commissions Now Open for Monster Hunter Fans

Sarah here! The second chapter of my online comic just ended so I’ve decided to take a break before the third one starts. Meanwhile I am opening commissions for Monster Hunter fans!

I’m happy to be able to offer people their own custom illustrations featuring their hunters or their favorite monsters. Here’s a breakdown of what you can get! (Note: Next to the descriptions are the number of requests I can take since I can only do limited quantities of each.)

Online Avatars $3 (limited 10 requests)
  • full color avatar
  • reasonable requests please: for example, one hunter + monster is the most that would look good in an 100 x 100 avatar
  • timeline: ~1 week
Black & white digital sketch $10  (limited 8 requests)
  • black and white refined sketch
  • can be portrait of either a hunter OR a monster (hunters with monster parts or weapons are acceptable)
  • timeline: ~1 week
Full color portrait $20 (limited 1 request)
  • full color portrait of a hunter, monster, and preferred environment
  • includes an 8.5” x 11” printed version on cardstock
  • timeline: ~2-3 weeks
Full color multiple portraits $30 (limited 1 request SOLD OUT)
  • full color illustration of multiple hunters, monsters, and preferred environment
  • includes an 8.5” x 11” printed version on cardstock
  • timeline: ~3-4 weeks
Payment information:
  • Paypal only — All payments should go to atremblecat[at]gmail.com (name will be Pixelfox Studio)
  • Anything under $50 total will need to be paid up front
  • Anything above $50 total can choose to pay half initially and then half after the piece is done
Other notes:
  • If possible, please email me reference pictures.  I am a visual person so the more pictures I can work with, the better!
  • Unless asked to otherwise, I will most likely feature completed works here as well as on my Culty website.
  • To be clear — I’m ONLY offering commissions for Monster Hunter fans as a way to give back to the podcast community.  I might open commissions up for anything down the line, but in the meantime please refrain from other types of requests ♥

[DOWNLOAD LINK] This weekend we recorded our 20th episode of My Fair Hunter — I would consider that a major milestone!  To commemorate this event, Sarah spent the better part of the weekend on this amazing Lagiacruz wallpaper for you guys.  Download it, put it on a USB drive, go to your local Library or Kinkos and set it as the wallpaper for as many computers as you can.  Or just your own computer is fine too.  Enjoy the wallpapers and thank you all for your continued support!  Look forward to many more episodes and more great Monster Hunter art.
