My Fair Hunter is a fan-made Monster Hunter podcast that began in August of 2011. The goal of the show was to record the interactions between a seasoned player (Roy) and someone who’d never played Monster Hunter (Sarah). Documenting this teacher-student relationship offered a helping hand to new players and also created valuable dialog with the game’s enthusiastic fanbase.
The show has evolved a great deal since it began, but there is still a lot to learn!

Sarah is a half-Japanese food and music enthusiast. She picks all the music for the podcast and draws all the art for it as well. When she’s not hunting monsters, Sarah designs websites and draws comics.

Roy is the knowledgeable host for each episode of My Fair Hunter. He is also the podcast’s AV guy — responsible for recording, editing, and somehow making sense of an ever increasing number of wires. When not hunting monsters (read: rarely), Roy also writes about video games on his blog, Kotowari.org.
